I read an Article
Today from Forbes Magazine, It was, "The Top 10 Biggest Business
Trends"
Concerned with a possible economic downturn companies are careful about
making risky investments in the future. But there are a number of
technological and societal trends that are simply too big to ignore or
put off until better days.
I am not addressing all ten, just a couple. Though the article is
written more for a big business these insights are important for us (Affiliate Marketers) as well.
The first was "Generative
AI Everywhere" and yes it is here and here to stay. Get to
know how to use it. But interestingly the next few were all very human.
"Soft Skills And
The Human Touch"
This will be vital since so much of communication will become AI
related, people will be very responsive to Real People. But convincing
others you're real will take Real Skills.
"Skill Solutions"
Thus this next one on the development of Human Skills. People will be
hired based on their skills in a role rather than educational skill
sets. Their ability to engage and complete a task. It may be, close a
sale, it may be manage a department. MBA type skills will be lower but
human engagement skills higher.
And that brings us to "Personalization-at-Scale"
Everything from communication to product development. Segmenting your audience and
speaking to their expressed interests.
Developing solutions specifically for your prospect.
Products designed on a one to one basis for demand. For example,
L’Oréal has developed personalized cosmetics to
match customers' skin types.
Personalization leads to offering
customized solutions to build stronger relationships with customers.
Email Marketing is still king because of this one to one relationship.
No more does one size fit all. Effective email marketing allows for
segmentation of my audience and I can be personal "at Scale" using a
solid Email Marketing Platform.
The biggest mistake many of us make is
writing "Ad Copy" and sending it out to our
Email List. We need to be sending Email, personalized Email, letters
not ads. Talk to your prospect through your emails, do not
sell them.
