Which of These 2 Ways Works Best
When you want to Make Sales?

The only 2 ways to get people to buy your products are:

1. You advertise a sales page that offers the product for sale. That product promises to solve someone's problem. If someone is convinced it is the solution to their problem, they may make the purchase. You get paid.

2. You advertise a free signup page that offers a solution to their problem. They subscribe to your email list to learn about the solution. Your emails help them with the problem, as well as educating and motivating them to want to buy the product from you. When they are convinced that you can help, they will make the purchase. You get paid.

In the first option, you have only one chance to make the sale. They visit the sales page. If they aren't interested or not convinced to buy, then they close the window and you never hear from them again.

In the second option, you get multiple chances to make the sale. Once they are subscribed, you can keep emailing them UNTIL they buy or unsubscribe. You can also email them about other solutions to their problem to try to find the right product for them. Of course, they are all affiliate links where you make money if they buy.

There are two problems with option 1. 

The biggest problem is that most people are not ready to put in their credit card the first time they hear about a product. They want to learn more, research, check the reviews ... before they buy. You have one chance to convince them and most are not ready to be convinced yet. During their review process they may very well buy but it may be from someone else. They are not getting to know you, they are getting to know the product and are willing to buy it anywhere. 

Problem 2 is even if they buy, it is a one time purchase. You make a single sale.

When your prospects subscribe to your email list first, then YOU are the one who is educating them about the possible solutions. YOU have an opportunity to help them and establish trust while they are getting ready to buy. And they are interested not just in the product, but specifically buying it from You.

If you serve them well, they will buy more things from you. They will also refer their friends to you. Increasing the number of prospects you are working with.

When they are ready to buy ... YOU will be the logical person to make the referral and the sale.

Sales is not a one step process.

It is a multiple step approach ... usually accomplished through good communication and that is what your email system does.
